Travis has been an artist his entire life and has won a multitude of awards in various art mediums. Realizing the ultimate canvas is the skin, he pursued his dreams and became a full-time professional tattoo artist in 1995. He became renowned throughout the Intermountain West for diversity and excellence in his field. He has tattooed on radio talk shows twice with Danger Boy on KzHT 97.1 and once with Shamus on KBEE 98.7 as well as the Fox 13 TV Ally McKay morning show. When he opened his own "Art City Tattoo" in 2005, his loyal customers followed, contributing greatly to his success. Travis believes there is a "perfect tattoo" for everyone. He states, "For me the beauty of this art form begins with helping someone discover their inner vision." He then has the ability to artistically display this "perfect tattoo" from the inside-out.
